Hey, I used your image on a musical piece I made and uploaded it as a vid to youtube [link] I meant to just use it as a placeholder until I could get some original artwork done, but I soon found out that replacing the video isn't possible. Are you ok with the video staying up there? I'll of course provide a link to your page for credit.
Oh, featured on Equestria Daily. Congratulations you're featured on a website that hoards fanart/fics idolizing a show that can't even make original characters. Just a big melting pot of unoriginality.
So, you took a horrid fanart made by someone else, put it on a background (which you more than likely stole as well), and added some text. What an artist you are! Just look at all the adoring fans, just throwing donations at you! No, wait, this page is more desolate than Chernobyl.
It doesn't have to be like that. I mean, you can be famous and well loved on Deviantart. You just have to stop being a brony. It's easy. Just think, really think about the show. Just at face value. Look at the animation. They didn't put any effort into it.
It sounds like you care for this artist, it really does! But how do you know whether this person wants to be 'famous' on this website? I mean, sure, fame is good and all, but sticking to passion and digging deep down into underlying emotions using one's art skills is what an artist is truly about and is what all artists should strive for. And what is a brony, exactly? It is only a name that a person who enjoys watching the show MLP:FiM can pick up at any time. It is entirely up to the person to label him/herself with this term to feel included with the larger mass of fans. In the end, it's just another label given by society to group up all of the fans of this show. But in the end, if you're just trying to tell the artist that he should drop everything and stop liking the show, it's gonna take a bit more than 'they didn't put any effort in the animation'. This is your opinion, sir, and "between 7 and 12.4 million" people would beg to differ. And if you think all the animators do is drag and drop their characters into different settings, I dare you to take a visit to their workplaces and say that again once you're back. Good day to you, sir.
Oh, and congrats to you. You've just had almost all of your latest wallpapers featured on a popular website, called Equestria Daily. Be prepared for a large amount of views and/or watchers, coming your way.
So, you're defending a show where the creators just drag and drop their "characters" in a petty attempt to make a quick buck off of saps like you? How's that going for you? I mean, just look at all of your brony brethren backing you up.
Geez. The way you talk about the show makes it seem like a pack of bronies murdered your family. Out of curiosity though, what makes you disapprove of the show and it's fanbase so much? I'm hard-pressed to believe that a thing such as animation could cause such a disposition.
